Dr. Sunil Gupta is a medical Graduate of 1981 Entrance Batch of GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. He passed his MS Surgery from the same institute in 1991. Thereafter, he started practice in Lucknow and established a 50 Bedded multispeciality Anandlok Hospital there. Due to some family constraints, he had to shift down to his home town Meerut in January 1994 and started another 50 bedded hospital in Meerut with the name, Kamna Hospital and Laparoscopic Surgery Centre in April-1995.
Practicing as a trauma, laparoscopic and Gastro surgeon in Meerut since 1994 and he used to treat and operate thousands of poly-trauma patients. He has a passion for trauma and he also started a new technique to repair shattered and severely damaged liver in different emergency situations to save the life. He also started new technique to treat prolapse rectum in pediatric age group.
To fulfill the requirement in this belt, he started a comprehensive and Multispeciality, presently 500 Bedded
He kept on adding new specialties in this unit, regularly & established a world class department of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular surgery in 2013.
Seven years back, he started a world class Cancer centre, KMC Cancer Institute embodied with world latest Radiation Oncology equipments Varian-Vitalbeam - Linear Accelerator with Dynamic IMRT, Robotic IGRT & Rapid ARC, advanced 24 Channel HDR Brachytherapy & latest PET CT Scan from GE, Inaugurated by Hon’ble Governor of UP, Shri Ram Naik Ji on 13.09.2018. Presently he is running 3 satellite cancer OPD’s and day care centre in UP & Uttrakhand.
He also started KMC College of Nursing & Paramedical sciences to train the youth for M.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing Course, Post Basic BSC Nursing, GNM, ANM, Diploma in Dialysis Technician & Diploma in Emergency and Trauma Care Technician, so that the dearth of qualified nursing staff will be dealt in northern part of the country, effectively. At present this college is holding top position among all nursing and paramedical colleges in state of U.P.
In social field, he has been running “KMC Gramin Swasthya Yojna”for the last more then 10 years and adopted 11 villages (Shahpur Jainpur, Arnawali, Pooth, Bhola, Lakhwaya, Govindpuri, Khanpur, Rasoolpur, Gotka, Kapsad, Machra) in different directions in remote areas for free & charitable health services. KMC Hospital has been regularly conducting free medical camps in various specialties and have arranged more than 1500 camps in the last 19 years.
